OK, some some random spewage…

Let me sum up the last few weeks in the way it fetl….

gotta arrange to move the equipment but first gotta arrange to move the benches. got the benches scheduled. scheduled the equipment. no, you cant change the dates cause we are gonna have the equipment moved the next day and the benches have to be there. disassembling lab as they remove the benches. cant pack equipment without boxes labels and bubble wrap. got boxes – still need lables – no, three square feet of bubble wrap wont do it – equipment moved and into new lab – got to get it up so theres no major impact tio release cycle – vent at director “you knew we were moving for over a yrea, why did you agree to doing a relase? This is not my fault!” – get everything patched together in a down and dirty way – run late one night back to old building to move servers – get servers over without having to unrack them – dammit! power is wrong – get power fixed – get critical servers up – still not working – oh yeah, forgot about WINS – ok everything is patched with duct tape and bubble gum – order $4K wirth of network cable to reire everythiong properly – can we get a temp? – please can we get a temp? – if you ever want this stuff to work right you better get a temp – give temp basic instructions – go back after and fix everything temp did – bitch at temp’s agency – get new temp – woah! this guys good – learn from temp – get network cable in – turn temp loose on recabling everything – sneer at snide comments about the cable ebing purple – stress to get everything perfect for open house – open houise comes off without a hitch- look at the almost 500 emails that I have been ignoring – get called to a mandatory safety luncheon and given an award for my hard work – collapse into pile of exhaustion

OK, this Men Can Multitask sketch is one of the funniest things I have seen in a while. It is probably safe for work.
