Very spiff. So you get to the back deck via the kitchen? Any thoughts on knocking a window out next to the fire place and putting in a large door there? I would give you more light and such…
Is there a full wall between the kitchen and the living room, or is that a half wall (in the stove area)?

It’s cool you guys have a fireplace. It will be nice to have should another winter storm decides to land sometime. Oh Wait, it’s 70 degrees outside today. Hmmm, I dont think you will need use of the fireplace anytime soon. But it would be nice to have the windows open and the breeze blowing softly while you all are working in the sewing room on Ymir projects if there is still warm weather after you move in.
Yes, from the inside thats the only deck access.
Hadn’t thought of putting in a door – was considering a skylight.

Neat! When we were buying this house we got Punch Interior Design so we could figure out what furniture to buy and where to put it. Don’t worry about obsessing over it!

I love the full length deck. And Soucyn’s right–replacing one (or both) of the windows with doors to improve access would be lovely.
I went looking for a free ware version of something like that – found a few sites that did it via Java but only one room at a time so I used Visio – I live in Visio these days.
